Pack your dancing shoes and your sleep mask, because you're in for a perfectly wild time as you head to one of the World's most popular gay travel destinations: London, England. Known for it's incredible tolerance, London is also an ideal choice for a gay vacation which focuses on fabulous, and I mean FABULOUS!, nightlife. Before going -- and especially if there are "must sees and dos" on your London travel list -- it's a good idea to map out a course of action so you don't miss anything because once the fun starts, it likely won't end and you'll get caught up in the whirlwind of excitement that is London's Gay District. There is definitely not a shortage of incredible gay friendly places to stay in London from luxurious accommodations at Soho Hotel, The Lanesborough or The Savoy, to "in" hotels like The Metropolitan, The Sanderson and Blake's Hotel, there's even gay only hotel choices in The Prince William Hotel or Hazlitt's. It's ideal to choose a location closest to where you plan on dancin' until dawn the most and with so many great clubs in the city, your options are practically unlimited. Wherever you stay though, one thing is for sure, gay vacations in London is going to be elegant and enjoyable.
Now that you've secured lodging, it's time for the fun stuff. Where to party? The choices are endless since London has gay tour hot-spots from West End and Soho to Northeast London to South of the Thames and back again. Each club is as varied as any given mood you may have. The club that still holds the title as "most famous" is mega dance club, Heaven; there is no way you can go to London and not visit this iconic gay travel destination. The fun never ends here, from incredible live music to thumping dance tunes, you may never want to go anywhere else during your stay. But you should. Between Heaven and South London's Vauxhall Gay Village, where the party can run until 11 a.m and start again at noon, there are literally hundreds of exciting, ecclectic and dance crazed places begging to be explored in the London Nightlife. Get some rest before you go, you're going to need it.
