Some people wear a cross because they have a belief that it will protect them from vampires while others wear one to show their belief in Jesus Christ dying on one. Some people wear spiritual jewelry because they afraid of evil and some wear it to gain wealth and power. What would be your reasons for wearing it?

The cross is a powerful symbol in many cultures. Wearing a pendant of one means a couple of things to different people. The Celtic cross has true meaning about the cross shape while the Christian cross signifies the wearers belief in Jesus and what He was crucified for. For whatever reason you might wear a cross for, you should know that is one of the most powerful religious and spiritual symbols in the world.

Celtic people had a cross thousands of years ago as well. The Celtic cross was worn and placed in the home as a protector against evil. This cross had meaning by the actual shape of it. The line that goes across horizontally means the planet earth. The line going across the other vertically means the pathway to heaven is upwards.

Jewish faith has religious jewelry as well. The Jewish Hamas is a pendant that can ward off evil and bad luck. It is worn hanging from a thin red thread. The red thread symbolizes a worm. It meant to be a reminder that no one is greater than just a worm and signifies a great humility that is one the greatest attributes to have.

Jewish people also had another piece of jewelry that has become quite popular today. It is called the Kabbalah talisman is also a pendant piece and is worn as well to keep away the bad things that are out there and could harm the wearer. This pendant is even more powerful against evil if it has the blessing of a rabbi.

The art of body piercing has become the greatest thing of today. You can see nose and eyebrow piercings on a lot of people while just shopping at the mall. In ancient times, these piercing held religious and spiritual values. Many cultures and religions involve body piercing and the jewelry that goes with it in rituals.

Have you ever saw the movies that had African tribes in it? Did you ever wonder what all the beautiful and colorful beads they wore were for? Did you think that was just part of the movies set? In fact, many African cultures today still use beads as a form of communication and for spiritual reasons as well. Some of the beads are made from ostrich bones while some are made from glass that has been crushed, dyed, and heated to form the ball shape. These beads mean the place you hold in society to the kind of political belief that you have.

No matter what your reasons are for choosing to wear metaphysical jewelry, your belief is what matters the most. This is one big reason behind this kind of jewelry, having strong faith in the God you know will protect you.
